Upgrade Notes
- Update your boxes. The PicoScope fixes and the nrfutil removal run on the box. Run
lager update --box <box-name>after you upgrade the CLI. - The box image no longer installs nrfutil. The image also drops the nrfutil
nrf5sdk-toolsanddevicecommands, and it no longer setsNRFUTIL_HOME. Lager did not call nrfutil. A script that runs nrfutil on the box must now install it.
Bug Fixes
lager installasked for the sudo password more than once on a fresh box. Docker, the buildx plugin and the PicoTech SDK each installed in a separate sudo session. They now install in one session, with or without Docker. The CLI checks the official buildx binary against a pinned SHA-256 before it installs it. A box that is already installed asks for the password one more time on its nextlager install.- A streaming PicoScope did not start again after a replug. The daemon opened the unit
again, but the Pico driver still held the previous run. Start failed until you ran
lager scope <net> stop, and the page kept the last trace. Start after a replug now runs on a new session, and the page says that the scope was unplugged. - A PicoScope that you just plugged in reported as wedged. The driver can take about a minute to open a cold-plugged unit. During that minute, each command said to reconnect the scope, and a reconnect started the wait again. Commands now say that the open is in progress and how long it has run. Only an open that runs past two minutes says to unplug the scope.
- The battery and supply TUIs printed a traceback on exit. A quit from
lager battery <NET> tuiorlager supply <NET> tuiduring state updates printed aNoMatchestraceback after the TUI closed. The traceback no longer occurs.q,quitandexitat the prompt now also tell the box to stop monitoring, as Ctrl+C did. - Ctrl+C did not quit the battery and supply TUIs on older Textual releases. On releases such as Textual 3.2.0, the command input took Ctrl+C as copy, even with no selection. Ctrl+C now copies when you select text and quits when you do not.
